Stonewall Sails – New York’s Gay Pride Regatta
The Knickerbocker Sailing Association (KSA) invites you to participate in the annual regatta held over the New York Gay Pride weekend.
The regatta will be sailed in J-24’s provided by Hudson River Community Sailing Boathouse at Pier 66 in New York with each boat having a crew of 3 or 4 people.

This annual event has previously been held in the UK, Netherlands, France and Germany and usualy the winning team is responsible for hosting the event the following year. Racing normally takes place with teams of 3 in keelboats.


Mardi Gras Regatta, Sydney, Australia
This annual regatta is usually held close to the date of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade and Party.
It is uses the CYCA’s Elliot 6s with 3 crew, as raced in the 2002 Gay Games in boath spinnaker and non-spinnaker divisions. A dinner and awards ceremony follows the regatta. For more information go to
